Complete Kits
A complete kit lifts front and rear together and ships as one engineered set, which is the difference that matters. The spring rates, the shock lengths and the valving are chosen against each other, so the truck sits level and the damping still suits the new ride height instead of topping out.
Mild kits in the 2" to 3" range are usually spacers or taller springs with matched shocks, and leave the driveline alone. From 4" up you are into longer shocks and, on most independent front ends, upper control arms. At 6" and beyond the kit relocates the front suspension mounting points on brackets, and driveshaft length and brake line reach both have to be checked.
Every kit is listed against the year, make, model and drive it was built for. Filter to your vehicle first, then pick the height.
