Control Arms
Lowering rotates the control arm from the angle it was designed to work at. On a big drop that shows up as an alignment the shop cannot bring into spec, and as bushings and ball joints wearing faster than they should.
A replacement arm repositions the pivot for the new ride height. On most drops it is not needed; past the point where cam bolts run out of range, it is the part that actually fixes the problem rather than masking it.
