Bumpstops
Lower a truck and the suspension starts closer to its bump stop, so there is less travel left before it hits. On a big drop the truck can effectively ride on the stop, which is what makes some lowered trucks crash over small bumps.
A shorter stop gives that travel back. It is a cheap part that changes how a lowered truck rides more than most people expect.
