Lowering Brackets
Lowering moves the body relative to everything bolted underneath it. Brackets relocate the mounting points that need to follow — shocks, sway bars, brake lines and driveline components — so each part still works at the angle it was designed for.
Most are specified by the kit they belong to. If your instructions call for a bracket, it is part of the job rather than an upgrade.
