U-bolts
U-bolts hold the axle to the spring pack, and nothing else does. They stretch when torqued to spec, which is what produces the clamp load and what makes them a one-use part.
Fit a lift block and you need longer ones. Reusing the originals is the common shortcut and it is the one that lets an axle walk under power.
