Tools
Most of a lift install is ordinary hand tools. The exceptions are the parts held under spring pressure or pressed into place, and those want the correct tool rather than improvisation.
The torsion key unloader in particular is not a convenience. A loaded torsion bar stores enough energy to injure whoever is under the truck.
