Shocks

Lowering a truck moves the suspension into the top of its travel, and a factory-length shock is now too long for it. The symptom is a truck that crashes over expansion joints and feels harsh at exactly the height you lowered it to enjoy.

A drop shock has a shorter body and valving chosen for the compressed ride height. It is the part most often skipped on a lowering job and the one that decides whether the truck rides well or just sits well.

If your kit already included shocks they were matched to it. This category is for drops that did not come with them, and for worn shocks on a truck that is already down.
