Shackles
A shorter shackle lowers the back of the truck by moving the rear mounting point of the leaf spring. It is the quickest rear drop there is, and the easiest to reverse.
The range is modest, an inch or two on most trucks. Beyond that the shackle angle starts working against the spring under load, and a hanger or a flip kit is the honest answer.
