Hangers
A hanger moves the front mounting point of the rear leaf spring. It sits between a shackle and a flip kit in both drop and effort: more than a shackle can give, less work than pulling the axle.
Hangers and shackles are usually changed together so the spring keeps a sensible angle at both ends.
